A sustainable art project in the heart of Hangzhou

Designed by architect Patrice MOULLET and initiated in 2022 at Chantier de l’Arsenal for installation in 2023, the OMNI is a musical work of art intended to be set up in Hangzhou, China.

This 15-meter diameter structure was conceived to offer the city a stunning sound and light show. To ensure lightness, environmental friendliness, and durability, the OMNI was built using flat composite panels and PET foam.

The piece is powered by four wind turbines in 64 colors and symbolizes the fusion of the world’s cultural heritage and modernity.
