We are delighted to announce the delivery of the DAY 1 80.09, named Samba.
On Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, our 20th DAY 1 was handed over to its owner, AMC Cape Grace.
This 80-foot catamaran, designed for passenger transport along the coast of Saint-Raphaël in southern France, was developed by Yacht Concept and custom-built by Chantier de l’Arsenal. Equipped with hybrid propulsion, Samba reduces environmental impact while offering quieter sailing.
Between the main deck and flybridge, Samba can accommodate up to 180 passengers.

To celebrate the delivery, the teams of Chantier de l’Arsenal, Yacht Concept, the owner and crew enjoyed a symbolic sea trip aboard Samba along the Rochelais coastline. A speech by Laurent Da Rold (yard and design office manager) and Maurin Coste (owner) concluded the outing, followed by the formal signing of the delivery.
The entire team is proud of this hybrid-propulsion catamaran. We wish Samba an excellent voyage to its homeport and great success along the coast of Saint-Raphaël.
